CLASS REPRESENTATIVES
University rules stipulate that each course nominate a student as Class Representative for School Committee meetings. School Committees, involving teaching staff and student representatives, make periodic decisions concerning course offerings in the School and other matters of interest to students.
The class representatives can also represent other students in the class if they have any problems with the course, the lecturers or tutors and do not wish to approach the Course Co-ordinator personally. This way, if you feel that there are any changes we can make to improve the course, we can modify things as we go, rather than finding out after the event.
Class representatives are also entrusted with overseeing the ANUSET evaluation forms at the end of the course.
We will call for nominations for Class Representatives during the first lecture, and introduce the volunteers to the class in the second week. If you would like to nominate yourself by email, please contact Catherine. This year, given the estimated class numbers, I would like at least two class representatives.
Details of your class representatives will be posted below.
