4) Exercises that require text input

There are two types of exercise that involve text entry. In both cases, the text is a single character rather than a string of characters. There are also restrictions placed on the characters that can be entered. For example, the CharBox objects in Exercise 3 allow only the digits between 0 and 9. It has been necessary to design our own CharBox class for the entry of a character. When creating a CharBox object, it is possible to specify a set of valid characters that the student can enter.
