A putative final (at least for now) version of a substantial upgrade of my Trees package, based on PSTricks rather than tree-dvips.sty. Here are some docs - an example of the payoff appears on page 15. Uses a preprocessor written in Python along with some LaTeX .sty files. Repackaged but no substantive changes 8 Mar 2006
An installer for a free-standing, no-Python-required version of a minimalistic GUI for the preprocessor (a file selection dialog and a button).
LingTrees and BeamerBecause LingTrees uses pstricks, you need to tell beamer to use dvips, and also invoke pstricks explicitly first:

\documentclass[dvips]{beamer}
\usepackage{pstricks, lingtrees}
```
Thanks to Koenraad de Smedt for pointing out the problem and finding the solution, based on this useful Beamer + Pstricks guide.

A simple GUI interface to the trees preprocessor, also runs LaTeX etc.

A Windows Installer; no pre-existing Python needed for either the GUI nor the preprocessor itself.
Just the Python Files; slightly tested on Linux (Ubuntu 5.10). Needs Python 2.4.2 from Active State (something seems to be wrong with the plain Ubuntu 5.10 Python). Works under SUSE 10.0 if you install all the geek stuff.

Not bullet-proof, but I'm finding it useful. Still under development.
