Enrolment Options

There are four enrolment options:

  • Full or combined Bachelor of Arts Program:
German Studies as part of a regular undergraduate program. You can choose German Studies as one of your majors (seven courses) or you can attend single courses (electives).

  • Undergraduate Diploma in German:
A diploma is equivalent to a major (seven courses) and is designed for (mature-age) students wishing to obtain a certified qualification in a new field.

  • Graduate Studies Select
Graduate Studies Select is a new option for graduate studies at ANU. It recognises that graduate students have a range of professional and personal needs and that these cannot always be met by following a program of study in a single academic discipline. Subject to meeting course entry requirements, you will be able to select courses from across the graduate course offerings available.
All German core language courses can be studied as part of the Graduate Studies Select pragram.

  • Non-Award Study:
Enrolment in single courses from an award program, e.g. Bachelor of Arts, without enrolling in the program itself. Normal university entry requirements apply.
