As Richard WHITE was a witness at his wedding, and witnesses were OFTEN 9but not always) siblings of the bride or groom, it is LIKELY that William WHITE had a brother named Richard. Looking only at baptisms in Brewham, two males named William were baptised at about the rigth time and had brothers named Richard. The one baptised in 1763 is identified as the man who married in Stourton in 1789 as his age most closely matches that expected at first marriage. The "other" one was baptised 7 years earlier.
