Note
Other information; It is assumed that this John ODBER was the one buried in Stour Provost in 1834, aged 78 years. However, it is possible that there was more than one man of that name.
Note also that the last record of this family in Stourton is the baptism of Charles in 1797. The last appearance as godparents is in 1795. Did they move to Stour Provost?
Note*
Other information; John ODBER is assumed to be the father of the illegitimate child of Martha DAVIS, who later became his wife, but there is no direct proof.

Note*
Other information; Although this couple appear to have stopped having children in 1762, which would lend weight to the thought that John ODBER might be the man of unspecified age buried in Stour Provost on 9 Nov 1763, I have not allocated him as such. This is because there is a burial in Stourton of a John ODBER, aged 48 years, in 1777 and this seems to fit.
Assuming that I have allocated them correctly, John ODBER and his wife appear in the 1767 Catholic census, so of course he coudl not have died in 1762. They arrived in Stourton in 1755, which would explain why they were not in the 1751 list of inhabitants. At the time of the 1767 census, they had four children, so one is apparently not yet identified.
