However, I believe that the widow Sarah MILES was the same woman who was living with John MILES #1134 in 1821, and William ARNOLD #1172. I believe that she was the former Sarah ARNOLD, mother of William, and that she married John MILES at some point after the death of his first wife Esther in 1813, and before the 1821 census. She was referred to as "Sarah ARNOLD, dau of my late brother James", by Thomas ARNOLD in 1820, so presumably the marriage took place after that.

A John MILES married a Sarah HURLE in Frome St John in 1819.
