It is possible that Richard and Maria HATCHER moved away from the area and that he was not buried in Marnhull, in which case the burial refers to another man of the same name. The one baptised in 1771 is allocated as the man who married Susanna HOW and moved to Compton Dundon in Somerset with this son Richard.
