I am inclined to think that Giles Jukes Toogood was the same person as Giles Farthing, but there is no other evidence.¹

The IGI has this as Hannah, with no surname or parents' names. The age given in the 1851 equates to a birthyear of about 1811, but the 1861 census gives it at about 1814. So there is still some uncertainty about this allocation. Nevertheles, it is the best fit. Her husband's age is out of whack by 10 yrs in 1851, so I am inclined to believe the 1861 date for Hannah too.²
