Visiting Fellow: Professor Stuart Harris

Professor Stuart Harris, a Visiting Fellow at CAIS, holds a joint appointment with the Department of International Relations in the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, ANU. While on leave from the University he was head of the Department of Foreign Affairs, then of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, from 1984 to 1988. His most recent major publication has been a jointly authored volume on Japan and Greater China: Political Economy and Military Power (London, Honolulu: University of Hawaii Press, 2001), and he has published extensively on regional economic, political and strategic issues and on Australia’s foreign policy.
