The Vanuatu Cultural Centre produces literature on Vanuatu's past and present. It also works with publishers based in other countries.

In Bislama:

In English:

Arts of Vanuatu, Bonnemaison, Jöel et al 1996 (338pp, ill).

A richly illustrated and comprehensive set of articles about Vanuatu, on topics ranging from ritual to everyday, and including combs, mats, flutes, and body ornaments and their production. A translation of the French work Vanuatu Océanie: Arts des îles de cendre et de corail.
