From Torres to Malo, a prehistory of the north

In 1995 the north of Vanuatu was nearly unknown territory to archaeologists. In 1996 and 1997 a research program by ORSTOM and the Vanuatu Cultural Centre broadened this fragmentary knowledge and gave us a better idea of the chronology of the region.
