LINKS TO RESOURCES ON UNCONVENTIONAL ARCHAEOLOGY
APPARENTLY SERIOUS SUGGESTIONS THAT A VERY DIFFERENT PAST IS HIDDEN FROM YOU BY CONVENTIONAL ARCHAEOLOGY
Many people believe that the past cannot be explained in the terms of conventional archaeology of the kind taught at universities. They believe that science is unable to see the 'real' past, and in some cases they accuse scientific archaeologists of deliberately hiding the 'real' past. Instead of the story constructed by archaeological research they choose to belief that humans were magically created 6,000 years ago, or that humans coexisted with dinosaurs, or that humans were created by alien visitation, and so on. Why people choose to believe such things and reject the well-researched archaeological evidence is a question of relevance to all students of archaeology. The following links take you to Web sites where these very unconventional ideas are taken very seriously.
